Mark has over 40 years experience working in the banking industry with most of that time spent supporting SME’s and Mid Corporate clients.

His career spans 20 years with Barclays Bank and most recently, 20 years with NatWest having been based in their central London Specialist Sectors business. Whilst he has a broad understanding of most industry Sectors he chose to specialise in the Hospitality industry and as such spent a number of years as part of the central London Hotels and Leisure Team. Mark also spent some time in the London TMT sector team
supporting a number of high profile Media clients and working alongside a number of high growth tech businesses before joining Empire Capital Solutions, now known as Empire Global Finance.

Having spent several years as a Relationship Director he is proud of the hands-on support he provides always willing to go that extra mile to get the client what they need. His strengths lie in his analytical and credit underwriting skills.

Having taken early retirement from Nat West, he is delighted to be joining the Empire Global Finance team and to have the opportunity to continue to support commercial and corporate clients with their funding solutions with a whole of market approach.

Outside of work Mark enjoys running his Holiday Let business with his wife Caroline, playing the piano (badly), following most sport but particularly Formula 1.
